Gulls Ballpark was the site for California League action featuring the Ventura Gulls and Lake Elsinore Storm.

Luís Cisneros pitched a gem to lead Lake Elsinore to victory over the Ventura Gulls, 9-0. With the win, the Storm have a record of 40-81.

The Storm got an important contribution from second baseman Troy Norrbom, who in the top of the third hit a fastball to left for a 2-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Storm ahead, 4-0.

"We came out aggressive," said Storm manager Kevin Cornell. "We came out swinging the bats."
