Pitcher Craig Kendall was sensational for the Rancho Cucamonga Rattlers in his team's 2-1 triumph over the Temecula Udder Tuggers. Kendall earned the win. Kendall picked up the win for Rancho Cucamonga, going 6 innings. He gave up 1 run on 2 hits. He now sports a record of 2-0. Nicolás Solis earned the save, his 3rd, for the Rattlers.
The Rattlers got a big at-bat from first baseman Kyle Charles. For the game, Charles went 1 for 4 with a home run. In the top of the second, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Rancho Cucamonga a 1-0 lead.
"It's about putting our team in the best position to win ballgames," said Kendall.
