Red Wave Tag Udder Tuggers with 5-1 Loss
|
Riverside pitcher Major Isaacs had a large part in his team beating the Temecula Udder Tuggers, 5-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Donovan Chatman notched his 1st save of the season. After today's action, Riverside sits at 62-58, while Temecula falls to 53-67.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Kinnard Puls? The Riverside first baseman had a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Red Wave on top, 3-0. For the game, Puls had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"Major did a good job keeping the game under control," said Riverside manager Jim Young.
