The Riverside Red Wave beat the Temecula Udder Tuggers, 6-3. Riverside pitcher and Buena Vista, Virginia, native Roger Lin led the way. This win makes it 5 in a row for Riverside.
It could have been a different outcome for Riverside, had it not been for Sam Fuller, the 23-year old right fielder . Fuller contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Riverside up, 3-1.
"Not the sexiest win," said Red Wave manager Jim Young, "but I'll take it."
