Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Clippers
No one was more impactful than Bobby Simons in the 5-4 Martinez win over Lancaster. Simons was 4-5 with 4 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Martinez reliever Sylvan Bakke picked up the win, upping his record to 6-4. Cristo Ochoa shouldered the loss. Their 50-67 record puts the Clippers 8th in the California League North Division.
