The Red Wave got a fine performance from third baseman Jacob Machen, who went 2 for 2 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Zach Cormier picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-3. Luther Garai was tagged with the loss. Earning the save was Matt Anderson. He's now cashed in 2 of 3 save opportunities.
Romeo Damian chipped in for Riverside with a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the catcher had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 RBI.
