No one was more impactful than Ramón Sonora in the 8-1 Santa Cruz win over Pittsburg. Sonora, who is tied for 7th in the CAL with a .401 on-base percentage, went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The misery continues for the Diamonds, who have now dropped 25 in a row.

Early in the game, Sonora had a 2-run home run for Santa Cruz. It was his 17th home run of the season and put the Cruisers on top, 2-0.
