Udder Tuggers Snatch 1-0 Win from Blaze
|
In a low-scoring tilt between the Temecula Udder Tuggers and the Bakersfield Blaze, Johnny McNeely was the difference-maker. The Temecula right-hander spearheaded the 1-0 win. Temecula reliever B.J. Voss was the winner. His record is now 7-3. Dylan McFarland took the loss. Temecula is in second place in the California League South Division with a record of 63-50.
The Udder Tuggers procured the win, in large part because of second baseman Caleb Francis. In the bottom of the 13th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
"I'm glad this one's going in the books as a 'W'," Francis said.
