The High Desert Mavericks and Temecula Udder Tuggers were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Temecula Udder Tuggers picked up a win at San Manuel Stadium, knocking off the High Desert Mavericks, 10-3. Starting pitcher Kody Grayson played a key role in the triumph. High Desert has now lost 5 consecutive games.

In the bottom of the sixth, Temecula pinch hitter Henry Sullivan put his team on top. With one out and the bases loaded, he hit his 11th double of the year. High Desert pitcher Maddox Gardner served it up. Just like that, the Udder Tuggers were ahead, 3-1.

"We try to keep the mood light around here," said Grayson. "Winning helps."
