Ambrosino Spectacular in 7-0 Win
Aydan Ambrosino of the San Jose Giants spun his magic on the High Desert Mavericks today. He blanked them 7-0 on 2 hits, registering 9 strikeouts and no walks.

"The bottom line was I just kept the ball down," Ambrosino said. "My breaking stuff was down. Everything was down."

Talking to reporters in the postgame interview, San Jose skipper Leon Becerra said the team "got solid pitching, good defense and took great team at-bats in a lot of different situations."

"Aydan pitched really well but this was a solid performance by everyone," he said.

This season Ambrosino has worked 153.2 innings with 133 strikeouts en route to a 13-2 record and a 1.99 ERA.
