The Bakersfield Blaze defeated the Rancho Cucamonga Rattlers, 6-0, at Hammond Stadium. Bakersfield right fielder David Uranga had a superb performance. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Jordan Pasqual snagged the win in relief. He goes to 11-3 on the season. Randy Laity suffered the loss. Bakersfield is now 60-48.

With Bakersfield leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Uranga hit a changeup from Randy Laity for a 3-run home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Blaze ahead, 4-0.

"We did a lot of good things tonight," said Bakersfield manager Brian O'Kray.
