Red Wave Lose as Rattlers Stage Late Rally
The rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of Rancho Cucamonga fans at Hammond Stadium.

Rancho Cucamonga right fielder Dimas De La Cruz had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Riverside Red Wave, 8-6. Rancho Cucamonga occupies 7th place in the California League South Division at 43-63.

The game was all tied up in the bottom of the eighth, until De La Cruz delivered big-time for Rancho Cucamonga, stroking a dramatic 2-run single off Daniel Aldaco. The game-changing hit put the Rattlers on top, 8-6.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said De La Cruz, "but we got it done."
