The San Jose Giants picked up a win at Rawhide Ballpark, downing the Visalia Rawhide, 6-3, in 10 innings. On the mound for San Jose was left-hander Timoteo Luevanos, who played a pivotal role in the win. San Jose is 63-42 and Visalia, with the loss, 44-61.

Abel Meeks came through with a big-time hit for San Jose. The designated hitter smacked a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"I just tried to focus on getting that first guy out every inning," said Luevanos.
