Sylvis Lifts Ports to 10-3 Win
Stockton shortstop Billy Sylvis was a significant contributor in his team's 10-3 triumph over the High Desert Mavericks. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 and driving in 2 for the Ports. The Stockton win streak is now 4 games.

The Mavericks had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Ports going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 25-year old center fielder Parker Robbins came to the plate. Robbins hit a bases-clearing triple on a 1-1 fastball from High Desert hurler James Walton. It was Robbins's 4th triple of the year.

"The bar for us is not a particular opponent, it's ourselves," said Stockton manager Tristan Batista.
