Trowbridge Lays Hammer Down in 4-0 Win

Santa Cruz and Temecula got after it at LoanMart Field.
The Santa Cruz Cruisers received a superlative performance from starting pitcher Billy Trowbridge, allowing them to bump off the Temecula Udder Tuggers, 4-0. The 'W' lifts Santa Cruz's record to 58-41.
Trowbridge overpowered the Udder Tuggers. The Santa Cruz right-hander allowed 2 hits over 8 innings, while recording 11 punchouts. With the win, he is 3-2 on the season.
"All in all, I thought Billy pitched a fine game for us tonight," said Santa Cruz manager David Knopf.
