The San Jose Giants picked up a win at LoanMart Field, courtesy of Leo Guerrero. The right-hander helped his team stop the Santa Cruz Cruisers, 2-1. San Jose currently is in third place in the California League North Division at 57-36.
Guerrero, the winning pitcher, raised his record to 9-4. In 8 innings of work, Guerrero gave up 1 run on 2 hits, while racking up 6 Ks. He kept the Cruisers punchless, offensively.
