The San Bernardino Stampede and Martinez Clippers delighted fans at Recreation Park.

San Bernardino had no answer for 23-year old left-handed pitcher Parker Allen. The Martinez Clippers starter stymied Stampede hitters, helping the Clippers cruise to victory, 8-1. The Clippers now have a record of 41-48 with the win over San Bernardino.

With two out in the bottom of the second, Christian Castillo put Martinez in front, 4-0, with a 2-run single. The Clippers went on to win the ballgame.

"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said Allen after the game.
