The Riverside Red Wave took on the San Bernardino Stampede at Grainger Stadium.

The Riverside Red Wave had no problem beating the San Bernardino Stampede, 11-3, at Grainger Stadium. Sugar Riner, who is tied for 3rd in the CAL in RBI with 60, led the onslaught. He was 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs for Riverside. The first-place Red Wave improved to 46-40.

Riverside catcher Alex Sheppard contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fifth. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 10th hit of the season and put the Red Wave ahead, 4-2.

"Put the ball in play and good things will happen," said Riner.
