The Temecula Udder Tuggers picked up a win at San Manuel Stadium, knocking off the Lake Elsinore Storm, 8-6. Starting pitcher J.R. McDowell played a key role in the triumph. Damian Brown closed the door for Temecula, picking up his 9th save of the year. The Udder Tuggers raised their record to 31-54.

Hasan Howard, who is tied for 2nd in the CAL in stolen bases with 24, chipped in a 2-run single for Temecula in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," McDowell told a Temecula Times reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
