LaBrock, Stompers Hammer Diamonds, 12-2
|
The Sonoma Stompers pinned a convincing loss on the Pittsburg Diamonds, 12-2, at Bright House Field. Frederick LaBrock was a main factor in the win. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 6 for Sonoma. With the win, Sonoma has a record of 48-34. Pittsburg falls to 13-69.
With Sonoma leading 4-1 in the bottom of the first, LaBrock hit a fastball from Paco Orta for a grand slam home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Stompers ahead, 8-1.
"This was one of those games you love to be a part of," said LaBrock.
