Though he had a stellar game, Milton Sigrist could not prevent his team, the Sonoma Stompers, from losing, 6-4, to the Visalia Rawhide. Sigrist was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2. Ryan Mandt picked up his 7th save of the season. Visalia is now 23-48, while Sonoma is 46-25.

In the bottom of the 6th, right fielder Dan Fulmer gave Visalia the lead when he hit a 2-run single. The Rawhide had been trailing 4-3, but the two-out single off Sonoma pitcher Nelson Armstrong changed that -- and Visalia went on to win.

Visalia manager Anthony Pizarro commended his team for exhibiting "no shortage of effort."
