Thomas Helps Rattlers Beat Storm, 5-3
|
The 5-3 Rancho Cucamonga win over Lake Elsinore was due in large part to Camden Thomas. The Rattlers third baseman was 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. The winning pitcher was Daniel McGill. He's now 5-5. He went 6 innings, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits for the Rattlers. Francisco Urrabazo closed it out for Rancho Cucamonga, earning his 4th save.
Thomas contributed in the bottom of the second. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was one at-bat among others that helped Rancho Cucamonga get the win.
"Camden raked," said Rancho Cucamonga manager Serge Olivero.
Rancho Cucamonga is now 31-25.
