High Desert Mavericks starter Oakley Cook hurled his team past the San Bernardino Stampede, 2-1. Cook, now 4-3, was the winner. In 5.2 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 5, walking 2, and allowing no runs. Jasper Hite earned his 10th save, after closing out the game.
