Stampede Keep Streak Alive With 7-0 Win
San Bernardino first baseman Jacob Sehlhorst was instrumental in helping the Stampede triumph, 7-0, over the Riverside Red Wave. Sehlhorst went 3-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Matt Herlin got the win, improving to 3-2. He pitched 5.2 innings, giving up 6 hits and no runs, while striking out 4 and walking 1. With the victory, the Stampede upped their record to 34-16.

San Bernardino used a clutch at-bat from Shane Ivey to capture the win. The designated hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Stampede ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"This game can get contagious when you're going good offensively," said San Bernardino manager Stephon Cohen.
