Rattlers 4-1 Winners Over Lake Elsinore
|
Daniel Amaro pitched well, but his team, the Lake Elsinore Storm, still dropped a 4-1 decision to the Rancho Cucamonga Rattlers at Hammond Stadium. Jaxon Wysocki, 8-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. The save was credited to Nate Parkin, his 11th.
The game was on the line with two out in the top of the eighth inning, but Tom Brooks didn't flinch. With a runner on 1st and Lake Elsinore trailing 2-1, Brooks retired Dylan Wagner to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Brooks, with a wink.
Rancho Cucamonga has run its win streak to 5 consecutive.
