The San Bernardino Stampede downed the Sonoma Stompers, 4-1, at Bright House Field. Stellar pitching by Diego García had a lot to do with it. The right-hander handcuffed his opponent all game. Getting the save was Josh Arce, his 2nd. San Bernardino goes to 27-21, Sonoma to 34-14.

R.J. Vance had a direct impact on the outcome. Vance contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put San Bernardino up, 3-1.
