Bakersfield Beaten, 6-4, by Rancho Cucamonga in 18
The Rancho Cucamonga Rattlers racked up a win at Jim Perry Stadium, bumping off the Bakersfield Blaze, 6-4, in 18 innings. Jon McNeil, who started for Rancho Cucamonga, pitched effectively for his team. The 4th-place Rattlers now have a record of 19-19.

It could have been a different outcome for Rancho Cucamonga, had it not been for Camden Thomas, the 23-year old shortstop . Thomas contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the 18th inning to put Rancho Cucamonga up, 4-3.

"Our team showed some spunk," said Thomas.
