Ventura starter Bobby Meyer had a strong outing against the Pittsburg Diamonds at Daniel S. Frawley Stadium. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 5-1 win. Meyer got the win, improving to 4-2. He allowed 3 hits and walked 3 over 5.2 innings. Meyer allowed 1 run. Delwyn Johnson nailed down his 11th save.
