Though he had a terrific game, Eduardo Cabrera could not prevent his team, the Stockton Ports, from absorbing a loss. Ventura won the game, 11-6. Cabrera was 2-3 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The Gulls now have a mark of 22-15.

Ventura used the hitting of Hunter Leake to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Gulls on top, 5-2. For the game, Leake had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"I give credit to my teammates for this win. We got it done," Leake told the Ventura Daily News.
