Bright House Field was the site of a competitive game between the Sonoma Stompers and San Bernardino Stampede.

The San Bernardino Stampede topped the Sonoma Stompers, 4-3, in California League action at Bright House Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of San Bernardino pitcher Bernie Salinas. Today's win puts San Bernardino at 16-21, while Sonoma falls to 18-19.

The Stampede got a big at-bat from right fielder A.J. Palacios. For the game, Palacios was 2-5 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. In the top of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 7th home run of the season gave San Bernardino a 3-1 lead.

"We're stringing together some nice wins," said San Bernardino manager Stephon Cohen.
