San Bernardino starter Giuliano Lugio pitched well against the Lancaster JetHawks at The Hanger. The left-hander led his team to a win, 2-1, in 10 innings. San Bernardino reliever Christopher Havill was the winner. His record is now 1-3. Cliff Zhang took the loss. San Bernardino, now 20-13, holds down second place in the California League South Division.

San Bernardino used a clutch hit from Marquez Martínez to get the win. The catcher drilled a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Stampede ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Took some scratching and clawing," said Martínez. "But we got it done."
