Riverside pitcher Elijah Sanchez got the win, upping his record to 2-2. Braydon Cassell got the loss. Riverside now sits at 7-23, while High Desert falls to 18-12.

Billy Scott had a productive at-bat for the Red Wave with one out in the bottom of the second. With the bases loaded, the catcher hit a sacrifice fly. The at-bat was important in the Riverside win.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Scott.
