The Napa Silverados bested the Stockton Ports, 4-2, at Jackie Robinson Ballpark. Kevin Searcy was one of the standouts. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Brito Torrence, now 2-0, was credited with the win in 2 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit, while striking out 2 and walking 1. The Silverados go to 18-11, putting them 4th in the California League North Division.

Searcy had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 2-1 fastball from Eric Lyons, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Silverados a 4-1 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Searcy.

"We'll grab a cold beverage tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Searcy said.
