Rancho Cucamonga Rattlers starter Yeris Guzman kept the Martinez Clippers hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 6-2 win. Picking up his 1st save was 25-year old right-handed pitcher Oscar Ball. The Rattlers saw their win-loss record go to 18-13. At the same time, the Clippers fell to 16-15.

Frasquito Peraza helped out the Rancho Cucamonga cause in the top of the third inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the catcher went 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk.

"Yeris's not intimidated by who's stepping into the batter's box," said Rancho Cucamonga manager Eric Koczera.
