Nuts Rally Late to Clip Pittsburg
The Modesto Nuts used a stellar performance from pitcher Walter Burks to throttle the Pittsburg offense en route to an extra-inning, 3-2 win at John Thurman Field. The winning streak has now reached 6 games for the Nuts.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the 11th, an error by the Diamonds allowed the Nuts to score the winning run.

"The other side took advantage in some key situations," said Pittsburg manager Wes Kim.
