The San Bernardino Stampede went home winners at Grainger Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Bryson Castner. Castner stifled the Lake Elsinore Storm, enabling San Bernardino to grab the 5-1 win. Castner got the win, improving to 2-2. He gave up 4 hits and walked 1 over 7 innings. He allowed 1 run. Alberto Vasconez earned the save for San Bernardino, his 4th.

In the bottom of the sixth, Pat Ingram delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and a runner on 3rd, the San Bernardino designated hitter hit a run-scoring single, putting the Stampede in front, 5-1.

"I'm happy we won," said Castner. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."

The Stampede have now won 4 straight.
