Good production from third baseman Almandeto Santas helped the Lancaster JetHawks topple the Lake Elsinore Storm, 7-1. Santas went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the JetHawks. Lancaster pitcher Charlie Burke earned the win, hiking his record to 3-0. Ahmaad Patterson suffered the loss. To call the performance of the 2059 Storm disappointing is an understatement.

It could have been a different outcome for Lancaster, had it not been for Leonardo Tran, the 23-year old shortstop . Tran contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the fourth inning to put Lancaster up, 3-1.

"I can only hope we've hit rock bottom," lamented losing manager Kevin Cornell in postgame remarks.
