Lake Elsinore Storm starter Adrián Santillan was in midseason form, as he helped his team beat the Visalia Rawhide, 3-1. Despite the win, Lake Elsinore, now 6-17, is off to a terrible start.
The Storm got a big at-bat from designated hitter Kaynard Williams. For the game, Williams was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Lake Elsinore a 3-1 lead.
"All in all, I thought Adrián pitched a fine game for us tonight," said Lake Elsinore manager Kevin Cornell.
