Red Wave Rebuff Storm, 4-2

The Riverside Red Wave and Lake Elsinore Storm completed their game despite the inclement weather.
The Riverside Red Wave scooped up a win at Lake Elsinore Diamond, dumping the Lake Elsinore Storm, 4-2. Lennox Isaacs, who is tied for 2nd in the CAL in quality starts with 4, was essential to his team's success. The Storm, at 6-18, have stumbled out of the gate.
Riverside won the game in part because of Cristobal Friedman. The third baseman ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Red Wave ahead, 3-0. For the game, Friedman had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
"I'm the humblest guy I know," Friedman told a local reporter without a hint of irony.
