JetHawks Hope Wins Keep Coming After 6-2 Triumph
High Desert got a terrific game from third baseman Ferris Gabel. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Lancaster, 6-2. Gabel was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Hector Trujillo closed it out for his 1st save. The win brings the JetHawks to 9-15, an awful start for a team that made the playoffs just last season.

Jace Strom helped out the Lancaster cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the shortstop drew 2 walks in 4 trips to the plate.

Strom attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
