Road Win Lifts Everett to 3-1 Lead in A-CS
|
The Everett AquaSox defeated the Batavia Muckdogs, 4-1 in Game 4 of the A- Championship Series today. Doing his part was starter Brian Wilkes, who threw 6.0 innings allowing 1 runs. The win moves Everett into a 3-1 lead in the series.
Javan Blackwell, the 22-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Blackwell contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the second inning to put Everett up, 2-0.
"Things aren't going great right now," Batavia manager Adam LaBreck said. "But you don't need me to tell you that."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Dwyer Stadium in Batavia.
