In a tight affair between the Tabasco Tacos and the Mexico City Diablos Rojos, pitcher Yancey Bussie was in the zone. The Tabasco right-hander helped his team win the game, 2-0. Samuel Simmons closed it out for his 20th save. Tabasco now sits in second place in the La Liga Mexico SouthEast Division at 48-43.

Daron Brandon was a prime contributor to the Tabasco win. He went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the fifth with two out, the former first round draft pick hit a 2-run home run. It made the score 2-0, in favor of the Tacos.
