The Tabasco Tacos earned a win at The Circus Tent, stopping the Campeche Clowns, 6-2. Starting pitcher Yancey Bussie played a big role in his team's success. Bussie got the win, improving to 6-4. He allowed 4 hits and walked 1 over 8.1 innings. Bussie allowed 2 runs. Samuel Simmons recorded the save, making him 16 for 22.
The fans who came to support the Tacos were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at The Circus Tent.
"We'll grab a cold beverage tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Bussie said.
With the win, the Tacos hiked their record to 42-38.
