Nuñez Blasts Suns, GreenJackets Take Game 4, 7-4
On the verge of being swept and facing a red-hot Hagerstown Suns team, the Augusta GreenJackets had a tough assignment. Nevada Nuñez delivered.

The GreenJackets designated hitter was unstoppable for the visitors, as he was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 in guiding his club to its first victory of the series, 7-4. Nuñez, 24, earned accolades for his efforts. The win means Augusta now trails 3-1 in the best-of-7 series.

The outcome might have been different had it not been for Nuñez. In the bottom of the seventh inning, when the GreenJackets were trailing 4-3, Nuñez delivered a two-out grand slam home run for Augusta, giving his team the lead.

"Ever since we qualified for the playoffs, the guys have been razzing me about how I'm going to embarrass myself out there," the rookie Nuñez said with a smile. "I'm glad to prove them wrong, at least for a day."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at First Energy Park in Lakewood.
