Montgomery Tops Arkansas, 5-3, Claims 3-2 Series Lead
Despite a great performance by Arkansas starter Bryson Castner, the Montgomery Biscuits defeated the Travelers by the score of 5-3 at Dickey-Stephens Park. Castner threw 8.0 innings of 6-hit ball, but he couldn't prevent the Biscuits from moving one game closer to the Regional Championship Series. Montgomery now leads the Divisional Series 3-2.

Montgomery won the game in part because of Luke Sigley. The catcher ripped a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Biscuits ahead, 5-3. For the game, Sigley had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"Every team in baseball loses," Travelers manager George French said. "We're in the playoffs and we still have the same guys that got us here. We'll bounce back."

Game 6 is scheduled for Monday at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery.
