Almost There: Auburn On Cusp of A- Championship Series Triumph After 10-8 Win

Riding the 3-hit performance of left fielder Stewart Cicero, the Auburn Doubledays stopped the visiting Everett AquaSox, 10-8, in Game 4 of the A- Championship Series. Cicero went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Doubledays, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 3 games to 1.
Quinney Bragg chipped in a grand slam home run for Auburn in the bottom of the third. For the game, the designated hitter had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 4 runs batted in.
"It was a nice win for our side today," said Doubledays manager Carlos Renteria. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Falcon Park in Auburn.
