Road Win Lifts Hamilton to 3-2 Lead in DS
The Hamilton Red Wings moved to within one game of the Regional Championship Series, downing the Auburn Doubledays on the road at Falcon Park by a score of 5-2. Red Wings left fielder Brooks Meyering was 1-2 with a triple and 2 walks. The win gives the Red Wings a 3-2 advantage in the best-of-7 Divisional Series.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Sergio Ibarra? The Hamilton third baseman had a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Red Wings on top, 2-0. For the game, Ibarra had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"You need to show up when your number's called," said Ibarra.
