Mariners Win to Tie Series with Stone Crabs
Virginia Beach starter Joshua Lewis turned in an exceptional performance and got some last-minute help as the Mariners forced the Wild Card Series into a decisive Game 7. The right-handed Lewis threw 7.1 innings of 5-hit ball in a must-win situation against the Charlotte Stone Crabs, keeping Virginia Beach close enough to take the 3-2 victory on a 9th-inning walk-off. The winner of the series will advance to the Divisional Series.

Julian DelCastillo was the walk-off hero for Virginia Beach. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Mariners first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This place went bonkers at the end," Lewis said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Virginia Beach Ballpark in Virginia Beach.
