Bach Blasts Stompers, Giants Take Game 3, 7-4
The San Jose Giants have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Sonoma Stompers, winning, 7-4, at San Jose Municipal Stadium. Giants left fielder Jack Bach went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times. The win cuts the deficit facing the Giants to 2-1 in the best-of-7 Wild Card Series.

Adrian Velting helped his team take an early lead with a grand slam home run. It came in the first inning, making the score 4-0, Giants.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Velting.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at San Jose Municipal Stadium in San Jose.
