Raucous The Oil Field Crowd Propels Oilers to 3-0 Victory; Series Tied at 2
The Oil City Oilers knotted up the Divisional Series at The Oil Field today, thanks in large part to starter Francisco Montilla. Montilla quieted the State College Spikes, enabling Oil City to grab the 3-0 win and move into a 2-2 tie in the best-of-7 series.

Montilla, who leaned on his slider, allowed no runs on just no hits over 7.1 innings for the Oilers. For the most part, State College hitters were simply overmatched.

"We had a good game plan," Montilla said, "and we were able to execute it."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Oil Field in Oil City.
