Aztecs Win Nail-Biter
Puebla wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher August Richards, falling to the Chihuahua Aztecs, 5-4. Richards threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. Chihuahua reliever Niles Valencia picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Japhet Newmark absorbed the loss. The win for the Aztecs raised their record to 14-10.

The Aztecs procured the win, in large part because of catcher Lukas Guerra. In the bottom of the 13th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"We battled our tails off to get this win," said Chihuahua manager Martin Ortega.
